This SUV focuses on functionality, with several practical storage spaces, comfortable seats with anti-fatigue foam and redesigned ergonomics. The new dashboard, with its more utilitarian styling, incorporates two screens: a customizable 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a faster, more intuitive 12.1-inch central screen, compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto wirelessly.
From the entry-level, a 2.5 L 4-cylinder engine offers 180 hp and 178 lb-ft of torque, while more muscular versions benefit from a 2.4 L turbo developing 260 hp and 277 lb-ft. In all cases, a simulated 8-speed CVT transmission and symmetrical all-wheel drive come as standard.
A new driver monitoring system can regain control in the event of inaction, bring the vehicle to a safe stop on the shoulder of the road, activate the hazard warning lights and call for help. X-Mode has also been enhanced to optimize off-road capabilities, with a more responsive center differential at the service of all-wheel drive.
This version boasts more rugged styling, with an exclusive black grille, 17-inch wheels mounted on off-road tires, as well as accentuated body protectors and gold detailing. Adaptive suspension raises ground clearance to 241 mm, enhancing stability and off-road capability, supported by revised skid plates and angles of attack.
